Cosan, Shell Conclude Creation of Joint Venture Raizen

By Lucia Kassai June 2 (Bloomberg) -- Cosan SA Industria & Comercio said the company and Royal Dutch Shell Plc concluded the creation of the joint venture Raizen in Brazil, according to a regulatory filing. Cosan will transfer 4.94 billion reais in debt to Raizen, according to the statement. Rubens Ometto Silveira Mello will be the Chairman of Raizen and will have an annual compensation of about 13 million reais.
